Dr. Kania has received world-class training at UCSF and Harvard. In addition to completing her dental degree, and residency in periodontics, she also completed a Doctorate in Medical Sciences in basic research. She is an expert in the diagnosing and treatment of gum disease and can help you keep your teeth for life. She can determine if surgical or non-surgical therapies are best for you. Laser assisted periodontal care may be one of your options. In addition, she is an expert in surgical placement of dental implants and in cosmetic soft tissue procedures to improve gum stability and appearance.
